What is a good free movie making software apart from Windows Movie Maker?
Posted by: | CommentsI need a good free movie making program. Windows Movie Maker isn’t bad but it puts everything into a picture format that you can’t post on video sites.
Thanks!

What movie editing programs would work?
Posted by: | CommentsI have a windows 7 computer. I was wondering what movie editing programs would work on my computer. And how much it usually costs??Thank you!!
Windows Movie Maker – Beginner
Sony Vegas – Moderate
Adobe After Effects – Advanced
Sony Vegas is a great editing tool, I use it myself, it comes with plenty of effects and gives you a lot of freedom with the editing. There are plenty of tutorials online, and if you have any experience with Flash then you will be right at home.
After Effects does have the basic editing tools, but it is designed to provide you with the ability and freedom to add insane effects, and there are a lot of tutorials and effect packs that you can purchase online.
Sony Vegas has a 30 day trial period, and then after that it costs a few hundred dollars (or you can use a keygen for free) and Adobe After Effects costs about the same I believe.
I’m using a Linux based operating system called Ubuntu.
Thanks!

Best Movie editing software for what I need?
Posted by: | CommentsI would like to make simple editing of my vlog videos, I’m just starting now so i don’t know what I should use for this.
Movie Maker doesn’t cut it, because I would also like to do slow motion parts or sped up scenes, with voice overs, movie-in-movie, soundtracks and transitions, etc.
I used adobe after effects until now, but I have heard that there is a really simple software for this, that doesn’t have such big system requirements.
Thanks!
Hi Mike,
I would recommend trakAxPC Pro. It’s aimed at the novice user but has all the features of a professional software.
It’s a really good and user-friendly video editing software which allows you to edit and mix any combination of audio, video and photos. It also has loads of features like effects, text, split screen, reverse, slow-motion etc, plus you can upload your video directly to YouTube through the application. There’s a free lite version and a Pro (paid) version available
You can check it out here: http://www.trakax.com/software/pc/
Hope this help
