    Does it let you …
Does it let you unlock the audio from the video so you can treat them separately? For instance, I want to cut to an outdoor shot, but I want to hear the wind and birds before the video cuts to it. This is my favorite editing trick, but most free programs don’t let you do it. So can you?

Nixie – I have had problems with kdenlive introducing a black border around the file after rendering. This leads to an irritating shrinkage of the viewable domain. This is particularly bad when rendering flv. I am using Lucid default install. Thoughts?
